This signifies a new era for the Igbo Nation Region for both the Igbo Nation as a Region in Nigeria and the Federal Government of Nigeria. This is a re-negotiation of our relationship with the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Nigeria project as administered from Aso Rock in Abuja.

Foreign Relations
The Igbo Nation Regional Government is committed in building an egalitarian and strong Igbo Nation. This is vital to the sustenance of stability in the Gulf of Guinea and the wider Region. Significantly this Government’s priority. This Government priority is to have peaceful relationship with our neighbouring regions and to promote stability, peace and mutual respect worldwide.
Security Forces
In order to achieve the above the Igbo Nation Regional Government (INRG) would employ our aged old community based security approach, contribute our quota in the global fight against terrorism. This is by the reformation, modernisation and strengthening of the Igbo Republican Guard (IRG) and other sister Regional Forces operating in the Igbo Nation. Our IRG are the strength of the Nation and the defenders of the defenseless.
